Since I had several support request from persons that tried to install the new Carrier Operation Package (file rcbco-20.zip) into John Schumacher's F14B panel (file se.f14bv2.zip) for Dino Cataneo's F14B aircraft (file f14bfs9a.zip), here's how to do it.Unfortunately John re-packaged several of my COP V1.1 gauges (included in his panel), so the update to V2.0 is not trivial. If you donot use John's panel and FDE yet: install this first, according to his instructions (IMO it's a very good enhancement to Dino's F14B).1. Install all files from rcbco-20.zip according to the pathnames in this .zip file2. In John's panel.cfg:- Under (Window00), DELETE the lines:gauge40=se.f14!SonicBoomControl, 20,0,20,20 andgauge73=dsd_xml_sound!dsd_xml_sound, 0,0,20,20- Under (Window07), REPLACE the lines:gauge00=se.f14!Ball, 22,22,148,216 by gauge00=rcb-miljet!Ball,22,22,148,216gauge01=dsd_carrier_zones!zone_selection, 22,15,136,16- Under (Vcockpit01), ADD the lines:gauge20=rcb-miljet!SonicBoomControl, 0,0gauge21=dsd_carrier_zones!dsd_carrier_zones,0,0gauge22=rcb-miljet!CatLaunch,0,0gauge23=COP_Config!config, 0,0,,, ./gauges/rcb-miljet/COP_Config.inigauge24=COP_Sound!dsd_xml_sound3, 0,0,,, ./gauges/rcb-miljet/COP_Sound.ini3. In John's aircraft.cfg:- Under (LIGHTS), DELETE the line:light.19=10, -10.0, 0.00, 0.00, fx_RCB_machenvlop,1 // SonicBoom controled by se.f14!SonicBoomControl in the panel.cfg and REPLACE the line:light.5=4, 16.00, 0.00, 6.00, fx_vclight bylight.5=10, -10.0, 0.00, 0.00, fx_RCB_machenvlop,1NOTE-1: FS only supports 19 (0-18) light switches, so light.19 is invalid.Hence an existing definition (a VC light) is replaced by the SonicBoom visual effect.NOTE-2: Use Windows Notepad and copy/paste to edit the .cfg files.Make a backup FIRST !!.NOTE-3: Instead of deleting a line, you can also put a // in front of it.Enjoy....Rob Barendregt
