You mean these Yokes?.

Exactly, those yokes. Does your posted image represent the ES design goals for the CJ1+?

C90GTi - my friend is an instructor on UND's aircraft. Sweet plane.

Not as sweet as an XLS+ though!

This is awesome news!  And RealNav support is just icing on the cake. I saw picks of the ESDG XLS+ about a year and a half ago and couldn't believe my eyes. I thought the project was terminated after so much silence, but this is music to my ears. Welcome back ESDG, and I am sure glad to hear you're supporting P3Dv2!

About 6 months ago my son and I were airplane watching at KJYO when an XLS+ arrived. After talking with the pilot, he invited us to a tour of the airplane. I said "Yes," of course. My 4 year-old son was intrigued by the snack bar, while I was drooling over the cockpit. One of my favorite bizjets of all time.

That does indeed represent our goal for CJ1+. B)

Todd, we made last minute changes to XLS+ after consultation with the modeler on this project.

He had not finished working on the VC or nose so he said it is better to do relatively minor changes now as opposed to a later phase.

XLS and XLS+ are both quite impressive in person aren't they?

By the way, P3D v2 has had an effect on us as we've tested some existing FSX products.

Our goal there is to produce projects for P3D v2 as that appears to be the genuine "native" basis going forward.

Old Style CJ1+ yokes vs New Style CJ1+

When the design team gets to the cockpit design of the new ESDG CJ1+ I would like to suggest they not pick the old style yokes but instead use the more modern looking ones that have been used for the last 5 or 6 years.

Take a look at the comparison images here.

Regards,

Ray

Also take note of the buttons on the respective yokes.  I haven't fired up FSX in a long time, but last I checked the CJ1+ and the Premier both have the Autopilot Disc Switch, etc on the same side.  Not opposite sides like in the aircraft.  Not a deal breaker at all but hey if you can that would be great.  :)

Respectfully,

Jet

Duly noted Jet. Suspect the modeler "cloned" one to make the other and yours truly missed it.

Ron,

I am really pleased that Eaglesoft are bringing us a new Bizjet I am praying that a Hawker 400XPR eventually makes it out of the door.

Apart from Ed who we know is doing the avionics, are you able to reveal the rest of the team, who is doing the fde and the modeling ect.

Ed did the FDE and the Honeywell Primus 2000 for the CX 2.0.

He is our go to guy on complex systems and accurate FDE's which include FADEC implementation and VNAV operations.

Modeler on the XLS + is not well known and for now we'll leave it that way. Suffice to say he is excellent.

Of course Bill Leaming is still modeling and contributing in areas of C++ and XML coding along with his techniques on night lighting that folks appreciate.

Bobby Hayes left a few years prior to his wife passing. Said he's done and I believe him.

We've received offers from modeling houses which fills the gap if affordability can be reached. Negotiations continue...

We are actively recruiting just the right replacement including a few livery/texture artists, testing P3D v2 implementation, and generally beginning 2014 with a fresh perspective. B)

Thanks Ron

It's great to have Eaglesoft back and active again.

Many thanks Dog.

We appreciate everyone who has supported us through some rough and not so rough times. B)

This is fantastic news.   As others have said, great to have ES back where they belong - looking forward and teasing us all with some brilliant developments!

Worth popping my head up from a break from FS to show support for these developments

Just want to echo everyone's sentiments here.. I'm thrilled to see Ron and ESDG back with a fresh start. !!   Like many others,  I fully intend to  continue supporting ESDG thru my biz jet purchases. Can't wait for the XLS+ and whatever follows...   :Big Grin:
