FYI, I don't think there's any guarantee this will be fixed in 10.30. I don't remember seeing any information on whether this will be fixed or not unfortunately

I wrote IMO so it's not for sure of course :)

However I remeber some comments about this "issue" in the blog and it was stated that is somthing that should be fixed with a major code change, and after 64 bit, hence 10.30,again In my opinion

Is there a way to have "white_out_in_clouds=0" in case you actually are in the clouds and to have it =1 if not?

Hello to all. Me and SPAS (Xplane Italy) have made a new script. It implements these controls so they are autmatically tuned based on the sun elevation (the light veers towards reddish tones when the sun is low on the horizon) and plane altittude (gains go up as you go up). http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=22387

@AVIATOREfsx:

Try to add line:

set( "sim/private/controls/planet/kill_hi", 1.0 ) or just use lua konfig postet by mat18590 !

This not enhance the DSF load, but "kill" the blue haze at high altitude (on textures which are faded out)!

for one of the last post´s : http://developer.x-plane.com/ :-) !

cheers!

I am having a minor issue when I make the art control adjustments. A black line appears in the exterior view at certain angles. Sorry if this problem was already discussed.

The string cloud_shadow_lighten_ratio is too high. Set max to 0.9

I get a "lua stopped" message in the x-plane (happened when I was testing the light_test.lua), can help Tom_Knudsen?

In the first line, change:

set( "sim/private/controls/light/random_percent=", 0.10)

to:

set( "sim/private/controls/light/random_percent", 0.10)

(get rid of that equal sign)

Just remove the hole line :) It does not affect the script or the effect
