Never seen this message in dowloads...

Been downloading and visiting this site for around two years. Tried my morning ritual of d/l a few from today's list and I got this message "Error 530... We're busy... try again later"! Never seen this bef"ore. Something new? Anybody else get this?

Yeah... me!!! I think Matt is trying to mod the system so that users know when the site is busy, rather than to make them guess at whether they are having connection problems or not. What we are telling you when you get this is that there are probably a thousand or so users trying to download, and rather than give you a download at 2KBs, we're "load balancing" and just not letting you in until the load decreases. That way, everyone gets a fair shot at bandwidth. :)But.. I do have to negotiate a better deal for * me *. :-)

Thanks guys... now that's what I call good customer service. Yesterday, I was seeing d/l speeds of 4KB/sec!! Also, never-ever seen that from this site so it makes sense to put up the warning. Guess you guys are just toooooo popular these days. ;)

(DSL) Since I'm one of those grabbin' off the A300 I guess I can't complain about it. I've no complaints about Avsim's speed, now or otherwhen. I know that in a few days it'll blow over and we'll be back to speed again. Those immortal words; "Patience, grasshopper." :D
