February 9, 201412 yr I posted the same question on the P3D sub forum and it was suggested to post it here as well. February 9, 201412 yr Commercial Member Since I upgraded my video card, I saw a strong improvement in P3D performance. The improvement in fsx was relatively limp. P3D is performing very well on my system and totally looking forward to the upcoming patch to improve performance even more. Especially the fix related to the FSX microstutter bug that the Prepar3d team found and fixed for the forthcoming release. REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations
February 9, 201412 yr When comparing FSX to P3D, I think it would be helpful to specify if FSX is in DX9 or DX10. They're like two different sims.

Very good point, however I think maybe for now we can leave it at either DX9 or DX10 FSX v P3D V2, which may ultimately imply if it's only a small portion of users who use DX10 preview mode it's somewhat of a moot distinction.
