March 5, 201511 yr I downloaded the GTN trainer from the link on Flight 1 page. I found the screen to be hard to read (not very crisp). Is that simply a limitation of the actual trainer? Is the GTN 750 screen sharp and crisp? I run at 1600 x 900. March 5, 201511 yr Ok then we're on the same page. I own both Dukes and have contacted them, but no useful answer so far. Keeping me fingers crossed... What info are you seeking? Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page

That cleared it up for me. Curt Branch

My eyes are young and even with glass cockpits in FSX they have issues sometimes. Here's an example in the 182, more of a wider angle view (typical VC viewpoint), then I've got them in the Duke Turbine v2, more zoomed up view. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
March 5, 201511 yr That does look good. Thanks Ryan. Appreciate the cockpit views. March 5, 201511 yr Sure thing - those are both technically P3D2.5 - but the gauge looks identical in FSX. Also, mini disclaimer... there is not yet crossfill (and may not ever be from reading at the forums)... the Duke shot there I just entered the FPL twice. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
March 14, 20179 yr hi guys, interesting thread! what's the situation like in 2017? any prospects regarding RXP? has the mindstar product evolved feature wise? basically i am looking for a solution compatible to FSX & P3D3 to get familiar with the GNS430/530 series for real world flying. but i would be happy with a 2d pop-up window, no need for integration into VC panels for me. any advice highly appreciated. thanks, HiLok

March 15, 20179 yr The Mindstar unit has changed quite a bit since the description in this thread; you might go to their site and take a look. Unlike the other similar offerings, it can be updated with real world nav data for a very reasonable price. DJ
