DX10 Fixed and WOAI/ HTAI FS9 models

Featured Replies

I'm seriously considering giving the DX10 fixer a try. However, I am concerned whether or not my FS9 add on AI aircraft will function properly in DX10 mode with this fixer?

Can anyone advise?

Thanks!

Chris Camp

I have the Don Grovestine's "Victoria (CYYJ) Plus" airport, Chris, and it does contain several FS9 HTAI aircraft, and all work in my recent beta-tests, and so should work fine do in your setup too, if you're running the latest Fixer. They did not work when used with the patch system, however.

Sorry - I cannot speak for the WOAI aircraft though.

All the best,

pj

What do you mean by the patch system?

Thanks!

Chris Camp

Back in June 2012, Steve released a free "patch" for FSX which corrected a number of the main "irritants" of its "DX10 Preview".  Version 3.2.2 is available from here or here (Avsim Library, filename shader_release_v3.2.2.zip.

You need to read the DX10 "How-To" doc, Chris. All of the information you need is contained in it, and the link is in my sig - ok!
