interesting trip of a laptop

As if I don't have enough computers:

MythDora 12 (media center PC) E6300, 2 gig RAM, 2 TB, based on Fedora 12 (was a FS computer years ago)

Acer AMD for my wife

Lenovo W520 17" widescreen (almost a luggable, remember those), i7 920 for work

i7 -920 for FSX / Quicken (or shoot me now)

I ended up getting a lighter weight HP 4.5 pound laptop for travelling.  It's interesting to see the route (and how fast it's taken) on it's trip with FedEx to northern New Jersey (times are local):

I think that's a nice trip if a person had the time to layover in China and Anchorage! Well... maybe not PANC in the winter... Also I would not recommend MEM as part of your travel plans unless you'd like to see the rows and rows of FDX planes parked on the ramp during the day. It's a really awesome sight..

In looking at the package tracking information, I wonder why EWR isn't listed. Also I wonder why Newburgh  and not Mahwah is the final sort facility if we're talking north NJ? Oh well... Enjoy your laptop!

It's not quite here yet.  Delivery date is showing next Wednesday.  So, maybe Mahwah will enter in.
