Oh, man, now what's wrong with the rudder?!@#$%?

Y'know, it never ends. I mean, it just NEVER ends. All the tweaking in the world with generations of MSFS and add-ons for 7 years, and something ALWAYS goes wrong....eventually. I installed the new POSKY 742 in MAS Kargo colors. Gorgeous stuff. Married it up with Massimo's classic panel. Great. Lined up at WMKK (KLIA) 32R, set flaps, fuel, radios. Super. Activated FSMeteo 6.4 and guess what? Rudder gets jammed in "noon" position on takeoff roll and I just avoid crashing on rotation ! I use FSUIPC registered and MS FFB2 stick. They both work great, I know. But it seems that activating FSMeteo caused the rudder to go out. Or it upset FSUIPC which upset the rudder. Or I dunno what.Did a reboot of Windows XP and then FS9. Took me 12 minutes to get back to the setup at KLIA using FSAutostart 1.1.1111 as well (thank heavens that always works fine, phew!). Tested default 737 and all worked fine. Switched to the POSKY 742 again and using default wx theme (t-storms), all was brilliant. Rudder worked normally. Saved it successfully. No more FSMeteo for today!Do any of you get this silly stuff still happening 7 years later?Sometimes I ask myself: why do I even bother? Yes, I've noticed a rudder problem with the POSKY 742. I tried to land at Schiphol with a strong crosswind and the rudder did nothing :(. I believe that the MSFS rudder is flawed anyway.

I seem to remember there being an issue with certain yaw dampers in FS2004, maybe that is causing the issue?Dan.

IIRC Dan there waas a rudder issue with the original release of 767PIC and the work-around was to increase the effectiveness of the rudder in the aircraft.cfg file or turn one of the yaw damers off ( can't remember which one).Maybe one of the above remedies will work on the PSOKY 742 merge?
