How do you disable FTX Global Vector?

Recommended Posts

This may sound silly, but i cant seem to find a thread on how to.. If you try to uncheck the entry in the scenery library, it complains.. says its required..  Must be something else i'm missing here..

I'm testing the fact that it appears vector brings my fps down by about 6 fps when "enabled" (p3d v2.1)

I only have one entry too.. ORBX!VECTOR_AEC

Thanks for any input..

(just removing the entry manually from the scenery.cfg doesnt allow you to "turn off" vector either)

incidentally, just changing the following as well:

[Area.003]
Title=ORBX!VECTOR_AEC
Local=ORBX\FTX_VECTOR_AEC
Layer=3
Active=FALSE
Required=False

Still keeps vector active it seems, the trick is to then UNTICK it in the scenery library or sceneryconfigeditor.

Mark,

I note you have an account at the FTX forums, but didn't post your question there.  One of the vector guys should be able help you if you open a thread in the support section.

Can't think of any reason not to ask one of the developers.
