Saitek rudder pedals (joystick noise)

Featured Replies

Lately even after I calibrate my pedals when they are in neutral position the pedals wiggle back and forth very rapidly you can see them flip back and forth when looking at the tail in spot view and makes it real hard to fly .- I believe they call it joystick noise. I tried setting rudder spike in FSUIPC but no difference . Maybe they are wore out  . Was wondering if I should spray some contact cleaner in side . if they are worn out I'm gonna go with Precision flight controls for pedals. Any ideas,? cause I'm out of them   thanks. Louis

Hey Louis

I was just like you not satisfied with Saitek pedals (or their yoke) I canned my yoke for a PFC a year or more ago and was headed down the same path with my pedals.  Those PFC units were so spendy though I looked for an alternative and actually found one that isn't real well known but is EXCELLENT if you don't mind the look.

Do a google search for MFG Crosswind rudder pedals there are a few you tube videos as well.  I was a bit skeptical at first but I placed an order and all I can say is praise for both Milan (the Owner) and the pedals themselves.  I've never seen or used a more comfortable, adjustable or more precise set anywhere. I'm so pleased I may start a new thread with them in the title so that more people will know about them. Best of all you'll save a couple hundered dollars off the PFC set that are built with potentiometers that will eventually wear out.

Good Luck,

Robert
