Smoke Effect issue pmdg777

Hi,

I would like to know why I got this smoke effect on my pmdg777

You need to disengage warp, sorry don't know, couldn't resist.

That's most likely a problem with your default contrail effect files. The PMDG 777 uses the default FSX contrail effect files so I recommend replacing them with something else, like this for instance:

Edit: Don't worry; it's meant for FS9 but it works fabulously in FSX. Tried it out personally.

That file doesnt work for me now my contrails are just a bunch of black squares.

 

 

And it seems I've lost my default contrail files. Any suggestions to help?
