Recommended Posts

Hi, this question is might silly question,

I`ve set X button for A/T disengage switch.,and When I disengage that, The only A/T supposed to be disengaged but even A/T Arm switch is being disconneted.also I`m using 744 and 777, both of them works well but not only for 737. Do u have any solution for this problem?

I have the same thing. If I disarm the AutoThrottle using a key assigned to the 'soft disengage' - i.e. the button on the throttle, not the MCP, the AT on the MCP also trips to off. Maybe this is normal?

That's normal behavior.

FCOM Vol.2 4.10.20:

Autothrottle Disengage Switches

Push –
• disengages autothrottle
• A/T disengage lights flash
• A/T ARM switch trips OFF
• second press extinguishesA/T disengage lights
• extinguishes A/T disengage lights after automatic A/T disengagement.
