Video of my DX10 Setup. (F-18)

Featured Replies

Here is a quick and dirty video to demonstrate that EVEN an old rig such as mine can perform decently using the guides and advice offered here at AVSIM!!

A couple of things.  There are some areas of chop that are not there in my machine, I think that is there from the minor drag of the video capture and music all running with FSXX as well.

If anyone wants (someone with an older rig as well) let me know I can post my FSX.CFG and my sliders page too.

Everything here was set up per the guides (FSX Basic Setup, and DX10 setup)  Then adjusted in sim through testing which Paul does a GREAT job of showing how to do.

HAHA!!!  Hilarious Paul.

I'm telling ya!  This whole work in progress has SO been worth the time and effort.  I really can't believe I can get this (in sim is a lot better) with my old rig.

Really it comes down to the philosophy of what the guys over in Prepared3D have.

Don't Slam the Sliders to full.  Be WILLING to accept less.  Less is more!  :)

Respectfully,

Jet
