Featured Replies

As the topic says, what is the difference between My Traffic X and My Traffic 2013?

Thanks!

Go mtx. I made mistake of buying 2013 and it has old schedules, less options and absolutely no support (it is being respelled by aerosoft but is created on the base of software made by MTX authors and from what I saw on forums they refuse to support it in most cases sending to aerosoft. Do not buy it if you can get MTX.

Mytraffic 2013 is sold by Aerosoft while Mytraffic X is sold directly by the developer through Simmarket, apparently giving it better support.

Really as far as I know MT2013 doesn't include anything that Mytraffic X didn't. Not sure why it's sold like that, maybe it's because Aerosoft sells also boxed version of it...

Simmarket has a nice comparison table for the two products:http://secure.simmarket.com/mytraffic-x-professional-5.4-b.phtml (scroll down)

Some time ago they even had a note saying that they receommend the "more complete" MTX Pro instead of the 2013 version - but obviously that note has been removed. Anyway, if you want to go the My Traffic way, MTX Pro is definitely the way to go!

Thank you for all the answers guys :)

One more question though. I read somewhere that you have to run the "Manage Aircraft Config" every time you start FSX. Is that the case?

No, MTX is pretty much install and forget about it, unless you want to venture into adding schedules, paints ect then it has all the tools you will need.

But basically install it, set your traffic slider and you are good to go

Another thing to have fun with is the historic schedules. Love setting the schedules to 1980!
