Question regarding FSDT KLAX and P3Dv2.1

This question may belong on the FSDT forums, but thought I would try here first.

 

P3v2.1 with Hotfix 1 applied, Win 8.0, 64 bit

 

After installing the FSDT KLAX, I'm seeing very high intensity with airport environment lighting, This includes runway, taxiway and other lighting. At night the lights are blindingly bright. Could this be a setting in my GPU? (I use NI, so I may have done something weird there).

 

I have also installed the FSDT KORD, which appears normal by comparison, as do all of the default airports.

Is KORD older .. not up to date with all the current runways?

Both KORD and KLAX (v2) are the latest files downloaded from FSDT. I don't believe that this version of KORD includes the latest runway opened in 2013.

I checked lighting for KLAX (P3D and FSX) and IMO both are bad on my PC.

 

If you show a screenshot I will tell you if I am seeing the same as yours.
