March 20, 201412 yr Has anybody flown to Monterey in Orbx NCAL? The airport is on a big plateau. I have disabled Pilot's Mesh. I have disabled UTX USA. I tried to fix it with Pilot's Airport Terrain Tool without success. Yes, North America is enabled in the FTX Control panel. Has anyone else noticed this? Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
March 20, 201412 yr Noel......I just went KMRY, and it's not on a big plateau on my system. I tried to upload a picture for you, but am unable to. I have FS Global 2010, FTX Global, Vector, and NCAL, and UTX USA all active. Not sure what to tell you. You've probably done this already, but, ensure your scenery libraries are ordered properly. For example, my UTX libraries are directly below all the ORBX!OPENLC_...... files. And, I had to move my UTX USA files down there as when I reinstalled UTX (last night), they automatically went to the top of the list. Hope you get it figured out.. Safe Flyin' Rod Oops....just realized when I checked I had FTX Central in Global and Hybrid checked. I'll put FTX Central in North America and check it again. May be a while before I can check it though. Got some "honey do" things to do around the house.....Rod I just checked with FTX Central set with North America, and it looked the same. AOK on my system. Again, hope you get it figured out....Rod Edited March 20, 201412 yr by rlkjmt73 Rod Beck
March 21, 201412 yr Author I'm working with Holger on this thing on the limited support forum for Orbx since I'm banned from the site. I only had the Orbx North America sceneries installed. I've uninstalled the Pilot's mesh for the Americas; UTX Alaska, Canada, and USA; and Ultimate Traffic 2; and all my Aerosoft sceneries. I also uninstalled all the scenery addons I had except for Return to Misty Moorings stuff but that only applies to PFJ, Tongass Fjords, and SAK. It's not just a plateau KMRY is on. There are trenches between the taxiways and runways and the runways float between the taxiways. Also the terminal building is on the ground level but the gates are upon the plateau. There is no elevation correction file in the main FSX scenery folder and I'm wondering if that might be the problem. Waiting to hear back from Holger on this. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
March 21, 201412 yr Author The problem has been solved. This morning I deleted and reinstalled NCAL. Now there is an elevation adjustment file in the Scenery/World/Scenery folder that wasn't there before. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.

Noel Hello birdguy, I had the same problem on my 1st install and a reinstallation of the NCA gold exe will fix the problem. Select and activate NA region, run the installation again and you will see the 3 or 4 files that were missing from 1st installation being installed. Once installation is complete, apply and select FTX Global and reapply the latest library and that's it. KMRY will be fixed. I hope this helps.
March 21, 201412 yr Author Yeah, I reinstalled NCAL this morning and the problem was fixed. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
March 21, 201412 yr I hope with all the changes in elevation files that they are also making sure the approaches have not been damaged? Some big airports have been changed and these will have precision approaches that could end up bad?
