Should additional power be required on the Pro Flight with the yoke, pedals, and two throttle quadrants connected together?

I have just added a second throttle quadrant and when I power on the PC initially the set lights up, but after a few seconds it goes dark and just the light (coincidentally on the new quadrant) flashes regularly.

I will try and find a 5v 1.5 amp adapter but I am wondering if I should need it?

Thanks

Nigel

P.S. If I remove the additional quadrant the set works OK (after rebooting the PC)

P.P.S. I assume I could connect the 2nd quadrant to a socket on the PC meantime?

Hello Nigel,

I think you don't need additional power. I use yoke and a second throttle quadrant without additional power. However, Saitek hardware reacts sometimes strange.  Depending on your PC Configuration you could try another socket on the PC. You can connect the second quadrant on the PC or on the yoke. And of course you can try different possibilities; it won't hurt the hardware.

Enjoy,

Ben
