If you haven't already done so, you may want to take time to visit RC's forum and read the author's post in which he explains why version 5 of RC has been shelved at least for the near future and which also includes his commitment to continue to support the current version. You may also want to share in that forum your attempt to purchase. I doubt that the program is no longer available for purchase but I stand to be corrected.

 

RC4 is an excellent program despite its shortcomings in a few areas.

RC is a good program and was great when it first came out but I feel we could use something newer and fresher. I understand JD's issue but I am surprised other developers haven't shown an interest into creating something similar to RC....

I still can't fly without RC.  Be patient I still believe it's the best non-default ATC for FSX.

I know, it amazes me too, have rc4, and pfe, i like rc4's format but like pfe's voices and taxi instructions, imho the fs market is wide open.

I purchased the CD over the weekend, got a response, and an email that it was recently shipped. Waiting on the CD to arrive. I have seen a number of emails about people not getting their registration keys. I hope that won't be an issue.

Try to have the registration dialog that open upon installation create the registration e-mail for you. We have gotten messages that people have received their keys who sent the registration within the last couple of days. The format if you need to create the e-mail is pinned above. It must be exact and your registration e-mail address must match your e-mail you used to purchase for the automated system to work, usually within ten minutes.

 

There was an Internet problem until a couple of days ago.

 

In the meantime checkout the pinned topics in missing dlls and security system interference so you can take some advanced precautions.

 

Post in this forum if you have difficulty.

 

After you have a successful registration and installation, update fsuipc snd makerwys.exe in the pinned topic links. Then start RC and run the scenery rebuild again.

 

From Win 7 on you need to start RC with a right-click on its .exe file and select run as admin. After install you can set up a shortcut to it with a property to run as admin. For Win 7 right click on the shortcut and select properties. Set run as admin. Click on the advanced button and in this second screen be sure run as admin is checked. This second one determines interprocess communication of applications. The Click OK to close the second window, the Apply, and finally OK to close.
