Hello everybody,

 

i've got a weird problem with a flightplan entry. Everytime  I try to

enter a flightplan into the FMS with EDDF as destination or arrival

the FMS freezes FSX. For eample the entry EDDF/KORD will freeze

FSX.

 

The weird thing is that the problem seems to be limited to EDDF, other

airports entries (EGLL, LSZH you name it) don't have the problem.

 

This wasn't always the case, at one point I could use EDDF as arrival

or destination.

 

I've tried different things to solve the issue, I reinstalled the default scenery of EDDF,

used a different AIRAC ( even the originally shipped one) or tried to load different

panel states, but nothing seems to help.

 

Is anybody out there who had a similar problem like this and got it fixed?

If yes I would like to know how.

 

I'm using the MD-11 version 1.2.00055, FSX is SP2 with AC pack installed.

Had similar   as to yours  but a different airport, what fixed it for me was  to run the md-11 installer  and used the repair option which solved the issue for me

It's really strange that it only affects one particular airport.

you know it really helps to _carefully_ read the content of a post,

as I should have done with yours. I reinstalled the MD11, but I never

bothered to do a simple repair, as you suggested.

 

I did the repair now, and guess what, it works, problem solved.

Do you have any company routes out of or to EDDF that could be entered in CO ROUTES on the F-PLAN INIT Page 1/3. The route would be in the FLIGHTPLANS folder under PMDG. If you don't have one, I will try and get one to you somehow.

I had the similar problem as you have, but in a different airports. how I fixed it? I remove all the PMDG software and FS2Crew too. i restart my PC then I instal MD-11 then 747-400 & 8i. After that I start My fsx, and I try the MD-11. It is work good for me then I instal 777 and 737NGXS. That how I solved the issue for me.
