April 2, 201412 yr I too will love if this comes to the NGX I will now buy ASN based on this new partnership. I will be using ASN for the NGX only until FS2CREW comes out with their 777 product Yesterday I gave in and reinstalled FSX - I have been running P3D for some time now and am starting to realize that PMDG on P3D may be delayed On the newly installed FSX, only one OOM yesterday and one appcrash, but did have a successful flight KSLC to KLAS Thanks PMDG for the update and staying in touch with the community via avsim Jon Watson https://www.twitch.tv/jonfly https://www.youtube.com/jonflytv
April 2, 201412 yr This may seem to be kind of a noobish question but my understanding is that airline pilots can quickly load flightplans automatically via downlink from the dispatchers and ready to go on the FMC. According to the SP1 updated info: one of those features is a simulation of the operational FMC datalink for performance, weather forecast along route, alternate data, etc. Would it be possible to simulate loading real flightplans via this datalink? Mind you I do not own the 777 yet, waiting for SP1 update. April 2, 201412 yr (...) Would it be possible to simulate loading real flightplans via this datalink? (...) I guess this is still related to the weather engine (ASN). But PMDG will clarify this. What happened to AVSIM
April 2, 201412 yr Will this still work if we have ASN running on a client computer through simconnect? April 2, 201412 yr haha - you'd think, but it doesn't take too long. After all, I'm the guy who photoshopped my dog onto the ND leading up to the -200LR release. (for anyone wondering who I call "Homeslice" in my videos, that's who it is...Indee is his real name, though he rarely ever gets called that...) Did PMDG implement goat simulator 2014 into the 777  Tom "I just wanna tell you both: good luck. We're all counting on you."
April 2, 201412 yr Any progress on the 737-900ER? Getting SP1 and the 777-300ER out the door has their priority right now, the NGX is on the backburner for the moment. Also, signing your name, per the forum rules, wouldn't be a bad thing. ;-) Name available upon request
April 2, 201412 yr Okay that is it i am of to purchase ASN now . I have try active sky next an like it very much but just couldn't give up using OPUS. I will still use the DHM features for OPUS with ASN. Having both is not a problem i can always switch back if i want. But active sky next has that thing that makes you want to use it forever an forget about the rest. It's like it pulls you in more an more you use it. Gosh the GF is not going to like this oh well i can say my hand click on purchase by mistake. Thank You PMDG  Mr Leny CPU I7 8700K @ 5.0GHz , MOBO -Asus Maximus X Hero (WiFi AC),GPU - GTX1080 TI , RAM - CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 16GB DDR4 3600MHz SSD -Crucial MX500 1TB (P3D Install Only)OS- Samsung 960 EVO 500GB (Window 10 Pro 64)
April 2, 201412 yr This is great news, and at it also means that subject of weather radar will no longer cause controversy on this forum. The double bluff of the "April Fool" announcement fooled me like most others, so I was delighted to read that Wxr and the data uplink facility would actually be part of SP1. Looks like HiFi Technologies will be getting my order for ASN as soon as SP1 is released.

April 2, 201412 yr Very nice to have the weather radar! I think PMDG modeled everything that can be modeled then, except the fluid in the lavatories.... Great job! Greetz Chris Titz
