Performance:

Speed wise - 340-380 KTAS

Fps wise - pretty big hit on my "old" SB 2500k@4.2 ghz

All other things aside, there's absolutely no denying that's one beautiful, lust-worthy airplane!

Complete non sequitur I know, but I wonder what it'd be like to fly with that oddly angled yoke.

I wonder what it'd be like to fly with that oddly angled yoke.

Herd fly boys call it a "Over Hand Yoke" .

I got a broker looking these new Carenado's over, and will wait a couple months for the factory to do the mandatory upgrades.

As far as the Yokes go... I've always thought they would be uncomfortable... not that ive had my grubby hands on one though.. just my hunch. The "U" Yokes are partly that way so you can rest your elbows on the seat arm rest.  You can "wrist fly" that way. Which to me seems intuitively easier to use.

To my eyes, they look like yet another example of why engineers have to give adult supervision to designers.

Its for sure one pretty little Jet.

But i'm not going to buy anymore Frameratekillers...I'm not willing to

spend time on tweaking and tweaking until my frames are stable at 28somewhat... -_-

It just is no fun at all for me anymore.

Regards,

Tom

They must sort out p3d2 so these displays run properly on a good gpu. It doesn't make any sense that they're such an fps hog.
