It happens, and it's happened to many - don't worry about it too much.

 

Future reference: it said "system not available," not "it didn't post."  If this had been e-commerce and you were purchasing something, you could've been out a good bit of money.  Just the other day, I was buying something and the page timed out when I clicked "purchase."  I closed the window first, and then went to look at my PayPal account to see if anything hit it before I tried again.  I'd prefer not to have to go through the extra effort of getting refunded.

 

Sure, the forum should be fixed such that it doesn't let this happen, but it's always worth checking to make sure someone else's mistake doesn't become your problem.  Luckily, forum posts are free.
