What are the benefits of AS Evo over AS6.5?

 

I'm still using AS6.5 with FS9 and was wondering what improvements I would get with Evo. I can't find a comparison chart.

 

I would like to hear some thoughts from people who made the shift.

You are confused. There is no new version of Active Sky for FS9. There is, however, a new texture and autogen pack called FS9 Evo released by Sasha in the FS9 forum. It has nothing to do with AS and never has purported to.

I'm talking about Active Sky Evolution over Active Sky 6.5.

ASE utilizes the data network faster and the WX engine is alot more up to date then 6.5 which has reached its end of life (EOL) so is not officially supported anymore.
