Zooming map into point

Hi!

 

Is there a way to zoom map into a point (for example: to see STAR route) so the chosen point/fix will be in the centre, or the present position must be in the centre all the time?

I think (from memory) you hold down the FORMAT button for a few seconds.  (Then adjust range as required).

Don't hold the FORMAT button as this will bring up the alternate needles; simply press the FORMAT button which switches the navigation display to PLAN view. You move along your route by changing pages on the FMS (you have to be on the FMS Plan page obviously), and change the zoom range in the normal way. To go back to normal view, just press FORMAT again.
