CTD - freezes during flight

I am sure this will have been covered but any help would be great.

 

FSX stops during flight

 

System Intel i7 with AMD 5700 graphics

 

737 PIC running REX weather engine. Short flight, FSX freezes but sound continue

 

I have event viewer data but can't paste into this posting !!

Known problem if FSX settings are set too high and/or a bad tweak such as Bufferpools.  One other could be a bad setting in the Virtual Memory (Page File).  You can use the AVSIM CTD Guide located under Hot Spots to the right of this forum to troubleshoot.  For instance, you can disable all of your addon scenery and see if that is causing your problem and disable your addon modules located in your dll.xml but I think a simple renaming of your Fsx.cfg, restarting FSX and letting FSX rebuild will fix your problem.  FSX does not like high settings.
