APU startup

Recommended Posts

Tinmouse and FSX:

In the ini file I selected no engines, no ground power and no APU.

InitWithEngShutdown    1    //0 or 1, 1=shutdown engines when panel is loaded
InitWithAPU_Elec    0    //0 or 1, 1=start sim with APU running and connected to gen busses
InitWithGPU_Elec    0    //0 or 1, 1=start sim with gnd power connected

When I start the cold and dark flight my APU is always running.

Is this correct?

I switched to the SP177.

I also re-did my cold and dark Tinmouse saved flight in FSX.

Re-booted PC.

Started FSX.

Did not load the Cessna first.

Loaded the saved flight from the first FSX screen.

Now the APU is OFF when I start my flight.

Well, after 25 minutes of preflight I lost control of light switches, radios (cannot dial new freq.) and the attitude indicator is inop ... tilted over 45 degrees.

Same as here:

http://forum.avsim.net/topic/439922-tinmouse-fsx-gauges-inop/

I tried for a starboard engine start .. no luck.

So I had to cancel this flight to JFK.
