Your post and the use of all caps in the topic title is the straw that broke the camel's back. I have now turned on shout prevention to keep that from happening again.

I do not believe there is a system that can run FSX "maxed out".. at least not if you fly in challenging terrain, with lots of traffic, and weather..

The GTX750 is probably the weak link in your proposed config..

Also be aware that high end FSX systems are typically clocked in the 4.5+ GHz range.. B)

See this post for details..

Nvidia is the preferred maker for fsx video cards. It all depends on what your budget is. For a budget build, here is about the minimum that you can get away with.

CPU:  Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($179.99 @ Micro Center)
Motherboard:  Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($158.98 @ OutletPC)
Storage:  Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($54.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card:  EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card  ($224.99 @ Micro Center)
Case:  Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case  ($57.99 @ Micro Center)
Optical Drive:  LG GH24NSB0 DVD/CD Writer  ($15.98 @ OutletPC)
Operating System:  Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)  ($89.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $947.85
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Be aware though that FSX is an old program and it is not possible to run it fully maxed out. Compromises will have to be made.

How about a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti 2 GB? Should that make FSX shine?

Plus I only have a budget of  $800.

Ahhhh.... Fps vary per computer setup. The video card benchmarks are not the same as FSX lol

93 FPS? Where do you get your information? Look at my setup.  I get 30fps locked. Until I hit serious weather at a highly detailed airport. Then it can drop to 15.

Look on ebay. There are some good deals on GTX 670s

What would you see when you use the GTX 750Ti? Isn't it better than teh 660Ti?

The 660 is more powerful that the 750.. by a lot!

I know that you probably really want a computer now, but waiting really would help. You don't want to spend that much money and not be happy with what you got. Otherwise I would turn to ebay. You might be able to find some great deals on some of the products.
