Early Morning Cargo Hauling From Red Deer To Edmonton

Featured Replies

Shalom and greetings all my pals,

Presenting a nice early morning cargo flight from CYQF Red Deer Regional Airport located 6 nautical miles southwest of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada to CYXD Edmonton City Centre Airport located within the city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Sorry  no waypoints or specific descriptions as vataware and simroutes websites are not yet back in full force with full functioning features but I will try my best to describe locations of all those screenshots below.

Entering into runway 34 to hold position there

I believe without info from waypoints that this is highway route number 2 called Whitemud Drive NW

If you can see river at further right, it is called North Saskatchewan River and the road running across the screenshot is called Jasper Avenue NW. It is up to all of you to guess those office buildlings' names.

Please identify those office buildings

Isn't this a fun hobby? Don't know what it is, but it's fun.

When I do a flight, then taxi in and shut down, I often get a big smile on my face and say to myself, "That was so cool."

I'm curious as to what sim that is. It looks like X Plane, which is my primary sim.

Also, what scenery packages are you using?

Fare well,

John

HLJames and JTwhite,

Thanks for kind words.

JTwhite,  I am using FSX default ground textures and it is FSX SP1 and SP2.

I love the enthusiasm you put into your report, and the fact that you're flying a "true" airliner.

Those drivers weren't called pilots, those were "aviators".

But let's not get too romantic, hahaha
