Cannot use Ident and FO Assignments with Yoke Buttons in P3D

Featured Replies

I am using a CH Eclipse Yoke to assign buttons within VoxATC 6.34 and cannot get the Ident and FO buttons to work within the sim (Prepar3D v2.2+Hotfix).

The assignments can be made succesfully within VoxATC but the buttons do not work in P3D itself.

I have checked for conflicting button assignments with P3D but these are non-existent and all other assignments using buttons on the yoke within VoxATC such as PTT control work correctly.

Has anybody used a yoke for button assignments in VoxATC and have you managed to get the Ident and FO assignments to work in the sim (either FSX or P3D), using the yoke buttons themselves?

Your comments will be most welcome.

For me, in P3D, with a Thrustmaster joystick, PTT, Comms and Prompt displays work with assigned key presses, but assign FO does not. I can't work out why.

For the benefit of the community at large, Tegwyn at VoxATC has managed to reproduce the problem and hence this a bug to be fixed.

Tegwyn has promised that an update or fix could be available within the next few days. Not sure if this will be a cumulative update based on other known bugs or just this issue but I'm sure that the former would be preferable for everyone concerned.

So the problem is in Tegwyn's hands and hopefully will be fixed shortly.
