@gboz: do you really see a difference w/o VC mipmaps? I tested that setting several times under different conditions and didn't see any difference and am wondering if i miss some usefull effect?

 

I agree that in most cases it does not make any difference.

It does make a big difference to the GPS displays in the Iris J160 and the Orbx RV4 though.

So I guess it's worth trying

I was wondering why they offer a useless option. Seems there is a benefit for developers (and their customers) using this feature.

So it's allway's worth trying when installing an new aircraft. Guess i simply let it ticked on.
