May 1, 201412 yr Maybe its related to this? - Fixed a CTD on load that results from errors in the runways.csv or ARPT_RWY.dat files. If you're getting a CTD upon selecting the airplane or pressing Fly Now, please try deleting these two files. runways.csv is in the root FSX folder, and ARPT_RWY.dat is in the FSX\PMDG\NAVDATA folder. runways.csv can be remade using Pete Dowson's MakeRunways.exe tool, found at his website. From the tracked issues thread.http://forum.avsim.net/topic/418750-pmdg-777-issue-tracking-thread-read-before-posting/ Nicky Tompkins
May 1, 201412 yr Yep, worked like a charm. I was having the same issues and found out runways.csv file was missing inside my fsx directory. I downloaded Makerunways.exe and problem solved. Thanks for the help. - Charles Hamlin
May 1, 201412 yr Author thank so much!!! but nothing happens.. CTD still happens.. I do everything..I'm using Windows 8.1..Thank again!!
June 14, 201411 yr I found that these error happen when using an englih version of FSX with a french version of Windows. The ARPT_RWY.dat is created with the wrong regional settings.... This may take forever before PMDG fix this.... Until then, I have to manually delete ARPT_RWY.dat everytime I start FSX The file is rebuild every time at 6% and it takes 30 more seconds. The path to look at is : C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\NavData Martin
