Are you going to install Win7 fresh?

1) No

then uninstall FSX as per this link and then reinstall it again.

(thank Olli for posting this recently :-) )

http://support.precisionmanuals.com/kb/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx

When you reinstal FSX and the PMDG777 into the same Win7 OS (so no new OS installation) then you activation key is saved inside the Windows registry.

You do not need to re-activate.

2) Yes

First, before you uninstall Win7...... you have to go into the 777 FMC.

Click Menu/PMDG setup/Licence/unregister product.

You have then freed up your licence to reinstall the PMDG on a new Win7 installation.

You can only do this once.

After that, if you install Win7 again and again, then you have to contact PMDG and ask them to reset your key.

(every time you install Win7 fresh, PMDG sees your PC as a new PC. Yes it does...I speak from experience ;-) )

Oh, and if you do need your activation code, you will find that when you logon to the PMDG website.

There you will find your purchase history and activation key.
