Multiplayer - Pause For Everyone - NOT WORKING

Hey guys we have setup with some friend 5 computers for a multiplayer session of FSX. We are all connected via a switch as a LAN connection and one computer acts as the host and is setup as an ATC TOWER. However when the host chooses the option to pause the session for everyone this does not work when we are all connected but rather that anyone can pause for himself.

 

Also another annoying thins is that when someone sets a failure to occur on its aircraft the graphics associated with the failure (eg engine fire) are not visible on any of the other computers in the session.

 

If anyone can help this would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!!
