May 13, 201412 yr ...here i am in the Bonanza...from Flint to Myrtle Beach...and about over the mouth of the Detroit River dumping into Lake Erie at late Dawn. I am looking out onto the wing...and with the HDR and reflective shadows and sunlight playing out upon the upper wing surface...well...it looks so real...so real...that you truly, actually, feel you are in that plane and flying. Everybody was right....nothing compares to this. Not XPX...not even DX10/FSX. Nothing... P3D is the champ...and will get you up there, as real as it will get.... Good morning, all....and heading for some sunshine, beach, and then great seafood that Myrtle Beach has to offer....oh...golf if you like..lol -----------------------------------------------------
May 13, 201412 yr Good morning, all....and heading for some sunshine, beach, and then great seafood that Myrtle Beach has to offer....oh...golf if you like..lol Don't forget the shopping...the number one reason why people visit Myrtle Beach if you can believe it . I go every year. I do wish we'd get better scenery there. Looks like P3D is being gifted to me in a few days...oh great...more work. Looks like P3D is being gifted to me in a few days...oh great...more work. And we can't forget 'Brucie'...the 2 1/2 ton (was pregnant) Great White hanging over the shark counter at the 'Gay Dolphin'! I haunt Myrtle Beach too. I always take a Spring motorcycle trip through the Blue Ridge Parkway to get there. Wild flowers are great...and prices are still way below in-season. Great place to vacation...and bike!
May 13, 201412 yr Mitch, you stood in there like a champ on the P3D forum. They nibbled at you a little bit LOL. Great job on the review. Someone had mentioned optimizing the ORBX textures or texture process, just not sure if there is much they can do. I hope 2.3 will bring some solid gains in the performance department. May 13, 201412 yr Commercial Member I just love the smoothness of the sim, the way that light and shadows render depth and immersion, and the atmospheric scattering. REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations

May 13, 201412 yr If I had to build scenery for Myrtle Beach... I would have a add a ton of gooney golf courses LOL! I drove thru there last May.... coming from Wilmington to see the USS North Carolina on the way to Charleston to see the Yorktown. I started noticing all the places.... I lost count at 30! So if you like miniature golf.... Myrtle Beach is the king.
