Hello guys:

Anyone can explain to me how CORSAIR LINK works. I would like to set the FANS working based on the temperature but it has many modes, quiet mode, balance mode etc etc etc, could you please tell me which one is better for a 4.5 GHz CPU :)

Regards

Ivan

I use performance mode. By modes, what actually is being set is your fan power vs. temperature curve.

I think custom curve is the best.

That way you can keep it quiet until the temps really get high, which hardly ever happens.

If you click on custom curve, you can set the rpm for different temps.

Remember that you must put both fans in the cpu temp group, and do a custom curve or whatever you choose for both fans!

I'd reccomend the custom curve as well. That way you can setup fan RPM Vs temperatures that works best with your own computer. Thats how I use mine and it keeps my computer nice and quiet up until i load my CPU very hard and I let the fans spin up and get really noisy. Neither of the preset curves worked good with my setup as Performance mode was just too noisy for me, and the other modes didn't cool well enough.
