PMDG 747X bad recovery

Good Morning,

 

I have been using PMDG 747X for many years with great success, fully licensed and installed on a Vista 64 platform.

 

During a recent crash, I lost pretty well all of my FSX stuff, including the original install files.

 

Consequently I took the decision to move to Win7 64 bit and re-install. I did manage to recover all of the files held in Simobjects from an old backup, and I am able to fly with no instruments just the models, but I can see that there are no gauge files for any PMDG stuff. 

 

Is the situation recoverable by obtaining the files/folders not held in simobjects (including gauges) or am I into a full reinstall.
