June 9, 201412 yr Author I can't find a download link on the website. Where can I download and try this thing ? Thanks It's a 'pay-what-you-reckon-it's-worth' model, so you click 'I want this!', and then type in how much you reckon it's worth. If you reckon $0, type in $0. I'll live. After that, you'll get a download link. If you typed $0, your computer will have an 'I-can't believe-you-typed-$0' mood. If you've provided your correct email address, I'll send you an email whenever I update the product with a shiny new download link... even if you typed $0! If you want to try it and then go back and donate later, that's also possible. Your $0 receipt will have a link. A few people have done just that, and my coffee consumption has increased commensurately. Bryn. Streaming at twitch.tv/brynmwr
June 9, 201412 yr Hi Bryan, I just donated and downloaded it. Installed it as per instructions on panel.cfg. So how I open this thing ? i didn't installed that boeing border so what's the default key to pop it up ? Thanks buddy Ammar Khan
June 9, 201412 yr Author The default key depends on your panel.cfg setup. The easiest way to open and close the panel is by using the radar switcher icon. Go to Views -> Instrument Panel and click Radar Switcher. That should put a little gauge in the top left of your screen. Clicking that should open the radar, and clicking it again should close it. June 15, 201411 yr Hi Bryn First of all thanks a lot for this wonderful gauge. I've installed it into two my PMDG planes ( MD-11 and 777). It works great in 777 but in some repaints of MD-11 (not all of them) in the Views > Instrument Panel there is no Radar Guage and Radar Opener. All repaints of both planes are from PMDG.
June 16, 201411 yr Author The MD11 has a widescreen and a normal screen panel directory. Make sure both directories have the panel.cfg entries. Streaming at twitch.tv/brynmwr
June 27, 201411 yr Bryn, i posted this topic in the forum of Fslabs for a more people see you work!! It is this link to be exact http://forums.flightsimlabs.com/index.php?/topic/5346-weather-radar-for-concorde-x/ Best Regards.
June 28, 201411 yr Hi, i tried it in the Airbus X Extended and the Radar Opener seems not to work. I cant click on it, its only a black field.
June 28, 201411 yr Commercial Member Hi, i tried it in the Airbus X Extended and the Radar Opener seems not to work. I cant click on it, its only a black field. If it pops up, it is working. Note that this is not a cloud radar, but rather a precipitation radar, simulating what is on board actual planes. You need to set rain / storms and have CBs in the sim, not just overcast. It doesn't detect ground clutter yet, so if you see a black field, its operating normally. TFDi Design
June 28, 201411 yr Sorry the Radar itselfs works good, only the opener doesent work, everytime i want to see the Radar i have to open it with the toolbar
June 28, 201411 yr Commercial Member Sorry the Radar itselfs works good, only the opener doesent work, everytime i want to see the Radar i have to open it with the toolbar The radar opener should be placed underneath the main radar panel. For example, I have provided my configurations below. Of course, change XX to your window number in the Titles section. //THE RADAR PANEL [WindowXX] file=SDK.FlightMap.bmp //<---NEW ADDITION - REMOVE FOR NO BACKGROUND BORDER size_mm=50,50 position=2 visible=0 ident=3012 window_size= 0.130, 0.170 zorder=4 gauge00=BrynsRadar!radar, 5,5,42,44 //THE RADAR OPENER PANEL [WindowXX] position=0 window_size=0.025,0.03 visible=1 background_color=1,1,1 ident=3012 zorder=99 gauge00=RadarOpen!Radaropen,0,0,100,100 type=special TFDi Design
