Missing battery Click.

Recommended Posts

Hey there guys i have this aircraft and love it to peices. Anyway :) I just had to a complete re-install of fsx and the pmdg. When i switch the battery on from a cold/dark start (do it straight after the emergency light) i used to hear a continuous clicking sound, but since the re-install i don't.

Anyone know what I'm Missing? :)

Thanks in advance

Are you using a plane with the LCD standby display in stead of the older standby instruments?

It may be the ISFD instead of the analog stby instruments. They doesn't clack like the analog instruments.

I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.

That's the mechanical standby gyro. The integrated standby type doesn't make that noise.

I think it's the stby alt that makes the clackety racket. If your gyro makes that sound, call maintenance. ;)
