How do I unblock a publisher?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

Somehow I managed to block Virtuali from running their programs in my windows 7 OS. So now I wonder how can I unblock them so that I can run GSX again? I have tried everything, set it to "trusted publishers", turned off anti virus, switched off windows firewall? But I still can't see addon manager under addons menu in fsx?

Help me somebody!

To be honest I do not know, I had a period with several CTD errors which made me changing and deleting a lot of files and for some reason I could have blocked addon manager and it's publishers from running programs on my pc....

Open XML file in WordPad.

Right click and select all

Right click and copy

Open post message here

Right click and paste

Viola... Done.

Okay. No FSDT entries are in there and that's the reason you don't see FSDT in fsx. Try reinstalling their addon manager as administrator.

But the problem is I cant reinstall it because I have no permission to do that..... I can send a picture of the error message later today when I get home.

Okay the problem is solved, if the problem appears for someone else in the future: "Enter the Windows Control Panel, under "Internet Options", look for the "Content" tab, there should be a "Publishers" button, that will list the software publishers that you trusted, and another tab with untrusted publishers. If you see "Virtuali s.a.s", remove it from both tabs (especially if it's under untrusted)"
