I bought a new Saitek trim wheel thinking that the old one was trashed because I couldn't adjust it any longer. Unfortunately, the new one is doing exactly the same thing: it won't stay at the setting I calibrated it for. It alway wants to go up to the extreme vertical position. I can manually bring it down with the wheel while flying but the second I take my hand off the wheel it starts to go up again. I have calibrated it both from the starting menu and while in flight with the same results. I installed the new driver that came with the trim wheel. I did a clean re-install of FSX but that didn't help. I am flying the fs Cessna 172. Windows 7-64. Anybody have any idea what to do?

Thanks in advance.

Solved it myself. It was a conflict between the trim wheel and TMP System commands in the the FSX controls menu.

I was just about to suggest a conflict somewhere.

Glad you got it sorted.

Cheers, Rob.
