LOD radius not following Aircraft

Recommended Posts

I thought I was having an issue the other day with AEC but after reinstalling Global, Vector, and new ORBX libraries I noticed what the true problem is.  It seems my LOD radius is not tracking with the aircraft.  I was using the top down view when I again noticed the ground looked  funny on the horizon.

notice how I am approaching the edge of detail.

does anyone have any idea how to fix this?  I thought it was an AEC issue because I am flying over Japan and China the last few days and wasn't sure what the airports should look like.

Also if I save the flight and load it, the LOD is once again centered for the moment but again doesn't track with me.

Thanks

When you put the sim in pause does the rendering catch up? Your product may not have been installed properly too. If your settings are too high, rendering will be slow and not all of the detail will show up immediately. This will happen too if you have the LOD_Radius set higher than the default max of 4.5.
