Nvidia GTX 295 Question

I have an Alienware that was listed as having 2 GTX 295 video cards. I was having problems with the monitor turning off by itself, so I replaced the only 295 card I saw in the case with another one. Everything seems to work, but now in Device Manager I only have one 295 card listed, whereas before it listed 2 cards.

Can someone explain how it can have 2 cards listed when only one card is physically in the case? How will this now affect my use of FSX? Will it work as it did before?

The GTX 295 is a dual GPU card - in other words it has two GPU's on a single card. In device manager it should show as 2 units. It is an old card by today's standards but I owned one and it ran with FSX reasonably well.
