N.I@58FPS limit observation

Recommended Posts

Hi. All though i normally run FSX unlimited i was experimenting with the limiter in NI.Flying PNW CYVR from FSDT in the NGX made some stunning results in terms of smoothneeth. I had FPS locked at 58 and was getting around 25-30 fps with short drops to 20 but very very smooth. Autogen was Very Dense and lod at 5.5

The only problem holding me from using this is the massive fps drop when undocking displays and moving them to a second monitor.

Anyone who has overcome this?

Unlimited i normally gets a 3fps reduction

Limited is cutting half and all down to 8fps

Thanks Michael

I will try this later and report back. I can't get acceptable frame rates unless I go on unlimited so I have abandoned trying to limit frame rates. Never thought to try such a strange figure though!

I have frame rates locked at 30 in NI and Unlimited in FSX, I found I had a 5-7 increase in fps since doing so. I did experiment with LOD at 6.5 but I was getting OOM's so I moved it back to 4.5.
