Lean Assist feature

Recommended Posts

I think the lean assist feature could be more informative then what it is like for example have best power display on the engine page with the TIT bars turning blue when Peak and best Economy is reached instead of the triangle and the plus or minus for lean of peak and rich of peak

For leaning the Cirrus and general "best practice" engine management, see this post by Alexander Wolf who is a well-respected Cirrus instructor (CSIP). It's on the Cessna forums but is applicable to the IO-550 in the SR22.

If the graphic for the "red fin" area he mentions doesn't show up, here's a direct link: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r207/wolfala/Engine%20Related/Redfin.jpg
