landclass file detector?

Recommended Posts

Guest David Lee 2

I understand that many CTDs are reportedly caused by landclass files in folders with texture folders. As far as I know there is no way to determine by looking at it if a bgl is landclass or not. Sure would be nice to have an app that could look through a huge scenery directory for that situation. Must be something intrinsically different about a LC file that would help identify it. Is there already something out there for this? ThanksDavid

Hi, this may be worth a try - most landclass files I haev seen so far have "lc" in its name. A file search for "lc" executed in your FS folder may be a good starting point.

Try FlightSim Manager - you can download it from AVSim. As far as I know, this is the only software that allows you to locate landclass files. Some developers do create their landclass file without LC_ as a suffix - it can be a real pain sometimes.
