This 737 is so beautiful!

I just bought FlyJSim´s excellent B732 for XPX yesterday. I took her on a spin and performed a few patterns at EDDK. She looks as beautiful as she flies:

Michael, can you comment on performance during that flight where pics were grabbed?  I'm a P3D user but would like to know what type of performance you're seeing now w/ XPX in settings like this, which would seem to be high-demand.

Noel, have you used X-Plane 10 before? If not, for reference with my system (using the FF757 or the FlyJSim727 both of which are presumably about the same in terms of system requirements) get about 35fps in the settings shown in the screenshots.

I have my fps externally locked at 30 (with N.I.), that gives me the smoothest performance while I stream my flights on twitch.tv. 95% of the time, the framerate stays at these 30 frames per second. Over very dense OSM scenery (my objects are set to mega tons, my trees to overgrown), like at EDDK, which is shown in the screens above, the frames can drop to 21-25. But the sim still feels very fluid under these circumstances. Imagine dense autogen like that in FSX or P3D, you probably would dip into the low teens.

Reasonable settings are quite important in XPX, but they are not too hard to find. It doesn't take days to move sliders and watch the fps while trying to squeeze the best performance out of the sim.

You might want to take a look at my Youtube channel, where you can find the highlights of my past twitch.tv streams, mostly landings:

www.youtube.de/schmeichel75

There you can see the sim in action, which tells you more about the capabilities of XPX 64bit.

Also, you are invited to visit my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/XPXschmeichel75

There you can find details about my settings, the scenery I use, my PC specs and much more!
