IVAO MTL a/c models and Flight1's Audio Environment Airliners Edition

Does anyone know if this combination works and enhances the sound of the online traffic in the same way it does for ordinary AI traffic in FSX?

Then to complicate things I'm actually not using the MTL models flying on IVAO but on VATSIM using FSInn as my pilot client. Not sure if the compatibility of this kind of sound package is dependant on anything else but the pure a/c models.
