Update: I have spent most of the day investigating the problem with intermittent voice responses from FS2Crew.  I have isolated the issue to be associated with LINDA running the MCP Combo2 Boeing or FCU Airbus panels together with Q400 FS2Crew.  When I disabled (in LINDA) and disconnected the VRI panel, the problem disappears.  I have tried to isolate the VRI_Timer() and Timer() calls without success so more investigation is required. It appears that too many or continuous SDK function calls to the Q400 aircraft are interrupting the FS2Crew sound outputs.

 

Can users with Q400 FS2Crew carry out some tests for me?  Try using FS2Crew and the Q400 with and without the VRI MCP panel connected.  Have any Q400 users who do not own a VRI MCP panel ever experienced any issues when using FS2Crew?  When reporting please include all version numbers (LINDA, Q400 module, FSUIPC4, FS2Crew, etc).

The problem for me , in p3d 2.5 ,disappeared when I disable mcp combo 2 under Linda settings ..... Linda 2.6.3 fsuipc 4.947d fs2crew last version ..... I'm waiting the fs2crew version for p3d but I think the problem will be present also with p3d dash8 pro version .....thank you for your assistance and for the great support

With MCP2B and commented out body of function Timer () NO PROBLEMS.

UPDATE: After further examination of the timer() function and how often it is called, I am happy to report that I have FS2Crew working without any voice issues with the Q400 Pilot and Pro aircraft. This involves some deep changes to core LINDA Lua files so it will involve an update to both LINDA and the Q400 module (note version 2.0 issues today does not fix the FS2Crew issue).

 

It will take me a couple of days to test the new build with other aircraft to ensure I have not broken anything else. I will then do a formal issue.

LINDA 2.6.6 and Q400 module 2.2 have been released on the Download sub-forum. Both are needed to address the reported issue with broken/missing voice responses when using the Q400 with FS2Crew and the VRI Combo 2 panels.

 

There remains a reported issue where some FO responses are repeated at cruise altitude. Further investigation is required.

LINDA 2.6.6 and Q400 module 2.2 have been released on the Download sub-forum.
