June 14, 201411 yr I've a lot of joystick problems. First of all windows 8.1 seems to kick out my controls all the time. No I have set it up with fsuipc, it performs better. However, my yoke is turning to the left and right extremely. It happens at every flightstick I connect. It does not happen when I fly with my keypad. Does anyone know a solution? I can't fly anymore. June 14, 201411 yr Hi, Have you checked the calibration of the axis in fsuipc? Have a look also at the slope setting where you can modify the response of impulses. Normal slope setting is a straight line tilted at 45degrees, but you can change to a curve to modify the rate of response of the axis. You can also calibrate again your device in the windows calibration menu. Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. St Exupéry, Terre des hommes.
June 14, 201411 yr Author I'm trying with the axis. Somehow they seem to jump from 0 to 100 (for example) at once, instead of slowy going to 100. Martin Pampiermole
June 14, 201411 yr Do you see the same behaviour in the calibration menu of Windows or only in flightsim? Does it do only for the roll axis? Also check if you don't have interferences in settings (several devices configured for the same axis) in flight sim. Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. June 14, 201411 yr Author Just worked it out: in fsuipc I had set the joystick calibration. Now I 'unset' it (is that an english word?), everything work well again. Martin Pampiermole
June 14, 201411 yr Good to hear, I'm happy that your problem is solved! It is the same for me but only for the throttles. They work properly only if I set them as direct calibration but with calibration not set... Have a good flight! Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite.
